Alan Castro received his B.S. in American History and Political Science from Charleston Southern University (CSU) in Charleston, SC in 2013 where he was a member of the football team. Prior to graduating from CSU, Alan attended the University of Louisville and Lackawanna College, where he was also a member of the football teams. Following graduation, Alan spent two years in Paris, France continuing his football career playing and coaching with Les Meteores de Fontenay Sous-Bois. After his playing career ended he began working full-time, including with the University of Texas Athletic Department, for three years before attending the Charleston School of Law and graduating in 2020. During his time as a law student, he was active in several organizations including the Cuban-American Bar Association, and the Latino Law Society.
Alan’s other interests include politics, traveling, staying fit, and helping his wife run her cat-sitting business.
