Stefanie Huffer received her B.S. in Biology from Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, VA in 2004 where she was a member for the Beta Beta Beta Biological Honors Society. Following graduation, Stefanie worked for the Commonwealth of Virginia for two years prior to moving to the Lowcountry to attend graduate school at the College of Charleston. She received her M.S. in Environmental Science with a focus on Environmental Law and Policy in 2008 after completing her thesis “Reusing Brownfield Sites: Examination of How Environmental Laws Affect Growth and Redevelopment”. Stefanie then attend the Charleston School of Law and graduated in 2012. During her time a law student, Stefanie was an adjunct professor at the College of Charleston teaching Environmental Law to undergraduates.

Stefanie is an active member of the South Carolina Bar Association and Business Networking International. Additionally, Stefanie is the supervising attorney for the pro bono legal clinic at the Donna Fielding Cancer Wellness Institute at the Roper St. Francis Cancer Center.
